Improvement

On January 21, 2022, the painting on the left side is submitted as a complete submission. Many details can be seen in the painting. But I always feel that it is a semi -finished product, and it took about 10 hours to improve. Add shadows to roses and characters, deepen the starry sky outside the love, and highlight the bright and dark relationship in the work. The painting on the right was completed on the same day on the 23rd anniversary of the parents' 23rd anniversary (February 28, 2022).

Detail Points

• Rose petals are gradient from the outside to inside.
• Rose leaves gradually became thinner from the middle to outside.
• The picture of mom and dad was circled by a ribbon in a heart shape. The ribbon is painted with two layers of polarized watercolor; thus it looks different from different angles.
• The whole painting is based on a picture of my parents on their wedding day.
• I was an angel flying in the air because I was not born yet.
• Since the people in the painting are the focus, the figures are also very detailed.
• The small pictures on the left and right were the memories mom and dad had recalled when they looked at the wedding photos.
• At the bottom of the picture, there were two people, holding heart-shaped sticks to support the photo above. What it means is that mom and dad support our family.
• The back of the two person’s hands are written with each other's initials.
• 5201314 in Chinese means "eternal love."
• The background of the painting is the universe. We are the stars in the universe, small but shining.
