SHANGHAI AND BEIJING

Shanghai VS Beijing
In Shanghai, I went to a restaurant in a hotel near my house and enjoyed a buffet. I was surprised at the Chinese-style interior at the hotel. Because, on the wall there, sentences written in golden penmanship were lined up, the surroundings of the letters became black, and only the letters shined.
Next time, we went to the Starry Sky Lost Love Museum and the Starry Sky Illusion Art Museum which is popular on TikTok.
I was surprised at the beautiful atmosphere.
Since the grandmother's and grandfather's birthdays are all in August, we went to various shops called the City God Temple where you can buy souvenirs that were very popular in Shanghai. Next, I bought a birthday present and celebrated it at a hotpot restaurant called Doulaofang.
I also had lunch with my relatives at the Shanghai restaurant Deiyuan in the Bund. We ate braised pork belly, crab flour, steamed river shrimp, fried stinky tofu, etc. At that restaurant, I saw all the views of the Huangpu river outside from the window. After all, I am most interested in Shanghai cuisine!
In Beijing, I went in mid-August to see the inside of Peking University, which is famous in China. The next day, I went to the Temple of Heaven. Once upon a time, the emperor came here to worship every month. On the third day, I went to the Forbidden City, where the emperor used to live, and after that, I went to the nearby Tiananmen. It seems that there are more than 6700 rooms in the vacant palace, all the buildings are painted in gold, and the garden inside is huge. On the 4th day, I went to the Summer Palace, the garden of the court, where I was going to visit the pond. On the 5th day, we climbed the Mutianyu Great Wall. At first, I climbed to the 14th tower and stood at the parapets, while the remaining seven buildings were generally flat, but only steep at the end. On the last day, I went to Beijing's famous shopping street-South Luogu Lane, and ate Beijing's local snacks. In the end, I also ate Peking Duck in Quanjude. Quanjude is very famous so I had to line up for about an hour and a half. As for how to eat it, I was surprised to eat it with sugar.
The Temple of Heaven, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and the Great Wall are world cultural heritage sites.
Comparing Shanghai and Beijing, there are many people everywhere in Beijing, and when I went to sightseeing spots, I was attracted to the fact that there was more than scenery, and most of the time, I took pictures but only seemed to capture people. Before I went to Beijing, I thought there were many people in Shanghai, but there are more people in Beijing. The prices in Beijing are also higher than in Shanghai. Partly because of the good points of Beijing, the tourist spots were huge and gorgeous. But I preferred Shanghai, where I was used to living! 😉
