This painting took me a lot of time, especially on the facial expressions of the man, and I was still dissatisfied with it after repeated revisions. In contrast, the lady was easier to draw, and then combine it into one final draft with almost no revisions.

This picture depicts the story of two girls, me and a friend of mine. The main scenes in the picture include the sea, a sailing boat in the distance, a little girl standing by the sea, a red dairy and so forth.

“A girl in a light blue floral dress and a pair of light blue high heels walked to the beach. The sea breeze blew his long black hair from under her straw hat. Serena (The main character in the book) was sitting on a stone step by the sea looking out at the blue sea and sky. Suddenly, a young girl sitting on a stone step not far away caught Serena's attention. She was wearing a pink round-necked T-shirt and black and white checked shorts and was holding a drink. Origin and meaning of the painting is looking forward to the future and commemorate a friendship that has passed away.

“The stars eclipsed, not as radiant as the colorful signs in the commercial street. Some people were busy hawking, some people rushed home with their briefcases. The meaning of the whole picture is to express that despite the prosperity, the heart is still empty.

There was an ancient castle and a lovely rose garden in the picture, with roses on the side of the road, and a lot of dim lamps on the side. Every girl has a princess dream and a fantasy world. In my fantasy world, there is an ancient castle and a road full of roses. Roses are my favorite flowers. Besides, there is an aurora over the garden, because the aurora is a unique and beautiful creature. This garden is my family's garden, and the castle in the painting is based on Disney castle.
